Copy a Quest embed onto WordPress or any site where you can paste HTML. Tours stay in sync with Quest.

Website embeds put your published Quest packages on your own website. Visitors see your tour cards, open the full tour with its day-by-day itinerary, and can send an enquiry or a booking request. The tours load from Quest each time the page opens, so you never copy tour text onto your site by hand.

Set up your embed

  1. 1

    Open Website embeds

Click Packages in the sidebar, then the Website embeds button at the top of the page. After you publish a package, the Set up website embed button opens the same page.

  2. 2

Tell Quest where your tours will show

In the Tours page step, add your website under Websites that can show Quest, for example https://www.example.com. Add the address with and without www if visitors use both. Embeds only show on the addresses in this list.

Set Tours page URL to the page on your website where your tour list will live, for example https://www.example.com/tours. Tour cards elsewhere on your site link there.

  3. 3

    Choose what each embed shows

Open Embed placements. Quest starts you with two: Homepage featured (your featured tours, up to 6) and Tours catalog (12 tours per page with a Load more button). Pick featured tours in the Featured tours step.

Use Add placement for another list, for example only short trips. You can set minimum and maximum days, cards per page, the card layout, and featured tours only.

  4. 4

    Copy the snippets

Click Copy on a placement and paste the whole block on the page named in its hint, for example the Tours page or the Homepage.

In the Theme Bridge step, copy the script once and add it to every page of your site (your site header is the usual place). It makes the embeds use your website's fonts and colours.

  5. 5

    Check your live page

Open the page in a normal browser window. You should see your tour cards, and clicking one should open the full tour.

WordPress

  • Edit the page where the tours should show (for example your Tours page).
  • Add a Custom HTML block (in Elementor, an HTML widget) and paste the placement block exactly as you copied it. Then update the page.
  • Add the Theme Bridge script once, somewhere it loads on every page: your theme's header settings, a header and footer code plugin, or a site-wide Custom HTML block.
  • If the embed stays empty, your WordPress host may be removing script tags from HTML blocks. Ask your host or web developer to allow them for that page.
  • Quest has no WordPress plugin or shortcode. The copied snippet is how Quest works on WordPress.

Other site builders work the same way when they let you paste HTML with scripts. For Next.js, React, Vue or Angular sites, see Add Quest tours to a coded website.

What updates on its own

  • Every published package shows automatically, including ones you publish later. You do not paste anything again.
  • Edits you make in Quest show on your website within about a minute.
  • A package shows while it is published and inside its availability dates. Unpublished and archived packages disappear from your site.

Enquiries and bookings from your website

When a visitor sends an enquiry or booking request from an embed, it arrives in Notifications as "New inquiry" or "New booking". Quest emails the traveller a confirmation and sends a copy to your company email. To work on it, open the notification and choose Create travel request. It then appears in Requests, ready to quote.

Not available

  • A WordPress plugin, a shortcode, or Quest creating WordPress pages for you.
  • Wildcard website addresses: list each address that shows tours.
  • Changing packages from your website. Packages are edited in Quest.
